This page is a place to record my experiences teaching, travelling, and observing.  I teach high school Geography and am the coordinator of a ‘school within a school’ in which I mentor students through all four years.  I am also a casual runner, I do at least 3 half marathons a year.  I also enjoy woodworking, specifically I turn old doors into picnic tables which are inlaid with Spanish tiles. When I travel I tend to enjoy the offbeat more than the traditional things to see, though I do enjoy normal trips as well.  I am also an adoptee and have recently begun a more earnest search for my birth family.

Lastly, I am becoming more an more involved with caring for my parents as they age and am intrigued by the roll reversal I’m experincing; I’m sure I’ll chat about that.  I hope you find my entries at least readable, if not also enjoyable 🙂
