Editor’s Note: For those who might be new to this blog, and/or just forgot, “Steve” refers to a stroke that I experienced about 3 years ago.

I’ve decided to proclaim this a “Summer of George”. I’m going to read an entire book (or two)! I’m going to learn golf (not likely)! I’m going to do all kinds of things always wanted to do and did not have the time to do!

So far I have started running again! I bought I new desktop! I’ve cleaned out two of my “rats nests” in my house; my desks to be specially. I’ve finished reading one podcast and started another! I’m about finishing The book of Hope by Jane Goodall and Douglas Adams, that I started last weekend! (I’ve met her, but not him.) I’ve walked Roan, my 18.5 year old red Healer! I’ve cleaned out a corner of the garage! I’ve added two new exercise apps…and USED them!

Yep, so far, it’s been a regular o’ summer. And for clarity I’m “reading” the audiobook version of that book which has come in handy while clean out the rats nests. Also, I used to run a lot, and I read my dog all the time. I’m well on my to end my summer the same way the “Summer of George” ended. I’ll try punctuate it with experiences like picking my nieces on the airport, where I saw this and got confused.
