If I had to guess how many times I’ve been to Hearst Castle I’d have to say 10 or purt near 10. I usually go when I’m in Paso Robles visiting my uncles ranch. I keep going there 1) because it’s awesome, 2) I love Art Nouveau and Art Deco, 3) Julia Morgan was an amazing architect and 4) each time I go I see something new even if I take a tour I’ve been on before. Today was awesome because there were far fewer people than the last time I went and it was a gorgeous day. A note about my photos, I try very hard not to take pictures with people in them especially I a place like this. Though I do make a concerted effort to not photograph people they inevitably ‘photo bomb’, that’s ok, it adds to the story. I also like doors. And plants. I also like to think I take photos other people wouldn’t; but isn’t that true of everyone? Enjoy.
