Party Time. Excellent

Again with the nicknames. I wonder if Poppa ever called my cousin ‘Prissy’ in person and beyond that, was she? I mean, I’ve never known her to be. Reading about the arrivals, as well as Six Flags, reminded me of our family reunions. I had also forgotten that my oldest uncle had worked for Howard Hughes and was a diplomat in Berlin just prior to that. It’s obvious how proud my grandfather was of the family in his recording of who attended the co-celebration of my grandmothers 79th birthday and their 50th wedding anniversary. The Six Flags Inn must’ve been 1) relatively fancy, or more likely accommodating, and 2) had no idea what it was in for. My family can be rather raucous…in a good way (guess that’s why the party moved home.) Nice to see my brothers birthday mentioned, he was turning 5, I think, which would have made me 2.

Wait, what?! I just noticed that the days and dates are the SAME in 1969 and 1908! I really suck at math so I’m not sure what the odds of that happening are, regardless it’s cool!

Man, the first entries from 1908 that I wrote about several years ago were WAY  more interesting than these latest ones; then again just how interesting is one’s day to day, especially if you’re taking notes in class? And wow, Dr. G. Mendizabal, Hospital Juarez, Mexico City, Mexico sure gives a ringing endorsement of Pepto-Mangan. Hmm, after a quick Google search it seems he would have been a good person to receive an endorsement from.
