A Photo Occasionally – Manzanar 9

I’m not sure if it’s irony, ok, I’m going out on a limb and saying it is.  What I’m talking about is the fact that while Japanese Americans were interred at Manzanar they turned the Warl Relocation Center into one of the most agriculturally productive areas in the entire Owens Valley.  Additionally the created sevearl parks within the camp the largest was Pleasure Park.  Pleasure Park had a large pagoda, pond and aritficial stream.  I was awe struck once again at the internees ability to create a liveable life in the War Relocation camp.  When I visited the National Park Service was in the process of reconstructing Pleasure Park.  I don’t remember what the Japanese characters translate to, any help with that would be appreciated.
