Finsihed today with an unofficial time of 2:08:17.  The route is fast and easy because it’s flat though this year it was a little tougher because there were 16 mph winds.  The winds helped on the way out of course, but battling them on the way back in was not the most fun I’ve had.  I did learn that carbo loading the day before also helps, never really beleived it.  Part of what ‘s fun about these events is seeing the people that come out to watch.  I never would’ve thought Modesto would generate many spectators along the route but there was a decent turnout, even out in the “country”.  Yep, good run.
